Description
: [Sword and Fairy] is a fantasy period drama directed by Liu Guonan ([The Glory of Tang Dynasty]). Its main leads include Xu Kai ([Falling Into Your Smile]) and Yu Shuxin ([Love Between Fairy and Devil]). It’s an adaptation of a Chinese RPG game of the same name. Mainly, it tells the story of Yue Jinchao and Yue Qi teaming up to fight conspiracies, embarking on a journey of chivalry and justice. Yue Jinzhao (played by Xu Kai) and Yue Qi (played by Yu Shuxin) have spent three years at Wuyan village together with a magical “resonance” relationship, but they are unaware of their respective backgrounds. Hand in hand, they roam the martial world in hopes of retrieving their past memories. They become embroiled in mysterious events such as the Uprising of the Holy Sect and the Blood Sacrifice of the Luo Family Fort.
