Description

: During the period of Japanese colonization of Korea, the grandson of a Japanese general, Tatsuo Hasegawa (Jô Odagiri), competes with poor and lowly Jin Junzhi (Dong-gun Jang) in the long-distance race until the Olympic selection. Although Junzhi adventures to win the championship, he is falsely accused of violating the rules. The aggrieved people clash with the military, and Junzhi is eventually exiled. He and his fellows are repeatedly humiliated by the Japanese army. In a field battle, Junzhi accidentally captures Slye (Fan Bingbing), a sniper who specially kills the Japanese soldiers.
