: "Do you believe in fairy tales and legends? The beloved star actress Gianna Jun brings legend to real life as an attractive mermaid, Sim-Chung. As she begins her life on land away from the sea, Sim-Chung runs into Heo Jun-Jae, the intelligent and good-looking con artist played by Lee Min-Ho. Will this odd couple ever get along? As the legend goes, mermaids are able to walk on land once they reach a certain age. <Legend of the Blue Sea> is a ‘fantasy romance’ drama where an unsuspecting mermaid crashes in the living room of a savvy con artist. Surrounded by a concrete jungle outside of the ocean, Sim-Chung explores her new world with sparkling eyes, while Jun-Jae has other ideas to use Sim-Chung’s special abilities for his schemes. The two have very different agendas, but their paths slowly begin to converge as fate sprinkles romance along the road…"
