The First Congress of the Communist Party of China was held on a ship on South Lake. Thirteen delegates, including Mao Zedong, came together with the common goal of transforming China and went their separate ways after the meeting, just like seeds scattered over the vast land of China. Subsequently, Zhou Enlai, Cai Hesen, Xiang Xiangyu and Qu Qubai became the backbone of the Party leadership one after another. The early Chinese Communists, mainly represented by Mao Zedong, were determined on their ideologies, and after decades of hardships and twists, they finally climbed the Tiananmen Tower in Beijing on October 1, 1949 to hold the opening ceremony of the new China. This drama portrays the image of the early Chinese Communists and demonstrates the century-long struggle and bold red spirit of the Chinese Communist Party.
