: During the reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty (1131-1162, reign name: Shaoxing), Xin Qiji, full of chivalries and patriotic feelings, witnessed the fall of northern China and the wars in the Central Plains, which made the masses have no means to live.
