: "Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest" is the official sequel to the manga "Fairy Tail," written by the original author Hiro Mashima and illustrated by Atsuo Ueda.
In the Kingdom of Fiore, the number one and most notorious magic guild is "Fairy Tail." The strongest team from this guild, consisting of Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray, Erza, Wendy, and Carla, is preparing to set out on a journey. Their destination is the distant northern continent of Giltena, said to be home to the world's oldest magic guild, "Diabolos." Because Natsu and his friends defeated the dark wizard Zeref and the black dragon Acnologia in a life-and-death battle, they are granted the special privilege to challenge the <100 Years Quest>, a mission more difficult than an <S-Class Quest>. The <100 Years Quest> is a legendary level task that no one has completed in the more than a hundred years since the establishment of "Diabolos." In their first venture into this new continent, they encounter "a mysterious city," "incomprehensible deities," and "horrifying enemies beginning to take action."
