: The TV anime "Wistoria: Wand and Sword" is adapted from the manga of the same name, with the story by Fujino Ōmori and illustrations by Toshi Aoi. The animation is produced by Actas and BN Pictures. An epic fantasy battle drama with staff and sword from the strongest production team! To become a fully-fledged mage, the young boy Will enrolls in a magic academy. Despite his hardworking and earnest nature, he has a fatal flaw: he is completely incapable of using magic. Both his classmates and teachers look at him with indifference. Although he feels quite frustrated at times, Will continues to move forward resolutely. Even without the ability to use a magic staff, he fights with a sword in this magic-dominated world. He firmly believes in the power that only he possesses and strives to fulfill a promise he made to someone very important to him. A tale of a bottom-rank boy challenging magic with a sword.
