Description

: During the tumultuous era of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, plagued by both political chaos and rampant epidemics, the royal court's relief funds were siphoned off by the Prime Minister, Liu Zhijian, who withheld the money for personal gain. Disguised as tax funds, this wealth was being transported back to the capital through the Su Family Escort Bureau. Along the journey, a group of four skilled vigilantes led by Shi Zhongyu and Qi Fenghe ingeniously devised a plan to reclaim the relief funds for the suffering people. However, their actions inadvertently entangled the Su family, leading to a tragedy, as the beneficiaries of the relief were ruthlessly persecuted. In this era of injustice and darkness, where the lives of the common folk hang in the balance, the audacious vigilantes step forward in unity with the people. Together, they rally against the odds and, like a tiny insect against a towering tree, they strive to shake the deeply entrenched roots of oppression.
