Description

: "Sweet Games" is a drama starring He Hongshan ("Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace") and Winwin ("My Brilliant Masters"). Former campus beau Anran (played by He Hongshan) disguises herself as a "life winner" to attract investments, but her act was ruthlessly exposed in front of everyone. Dejected and heartbroken, Anran drowns her sorrows in alcohol and ends up in an unexpected "one-night affair" with Yanyue (played by Dong Sicheng), her debt-collecting landlord who is six years her junior. Soon after, Anran discovers that Yanyue is not only a renowned voice actor in the industry, known as Heisha, but also the next project collaborator brought in by Hu Yingjun, a business partner. Yet, Yanyue keeps his identity as a voice actor secret from outsiders. Amidst the rollercoaster of challenges on the entrepreneurial journey, Anran's game company gradually thrives. The once emotionally wounded Anran finds solace and healing in the everyday antics and laughter shared with Yanyue. As they spend more time together, they start to confront and acknowledge their feelings for each other. A sudden onslaught of public opinion crisis forces the two into a dilemma between love and career. Ultimately, while Anran remains devoted to her passion for the gaming industry, Yanyue steps out of his fear of confrontation, growing up in the process.
