Description

: “Faithful” is a suspense period drama directed by Zang Xichuan (“The Flowers of War”). The main leads include Wu Qian (“Lighting Up the Stars”), Li Jiahang (“iPartment”), Qiao Zhenyu (“Back to 1942”), and Hu Yixuan (“The Blue Whisper”). This series is adapted from Li Bojian’s novel of the same name. It tells the story of a young girl Lin Rulan (played by Hu Yixuan) who disregards the objection of her close friend Meng Wan (played by Wu Qian) and risks her reputation to sue the owner of the embroidery house, Wu Lian (played by Qiao Zhenyu). However, after several unsuccessful attempts, feeling isolated and helpless, she ultimately commits suicide to prove her innocence. After nursing her vengeance for seven years, Meng Wan forms the revenge squad “Nine Righteous Men”, which includes Liu Xin (played by Li Jiahang) who had countless connections with the Rulan case.
