In 2015, Jung Sang Hoon became the first Korean spokesperson for Tsingtao Beer after he made "Lamb Kebab and Tsingtao" a buzzword in the Korean version of SNL's "Global Weekend Why" segment. In 2016, he participated in the Iceland episode of "Youth Over Flowers" with Jo Jung Suk, Jung Woo, and Kang Ha Neul and his popularity increased greatly.
