Ok Taec Yeon was born in Seoul, Korea on December 27th, 1988. He is a member of the South Korean boy band 2PM, a singer, actor, host, model, and the CEO of a cultural brand. In 2006, he joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee. After appearing in the debut documentary "Hot Blood," he officially debuted in September 2008 as a member of 2PM. He has starred in dramas such as "Cinderella's Stepsister," "Dream High," "Who Are You," and more. Ok Taec Yeon is known to be the icon of 2PM's "beast idol" image. In 2013, he filmed the movie "Marriage Blue" and the drama "Wonderful Days" in 2014. With his roles in these two dramas, he earned nominations for Most Popular Actor in the film and TV categories at the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards. In May 2016, he played the lead role in the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama "Bring It On, Ghost." Aside from his entertainment career, he officially launched OKCAT merchandise and set up an online shopping mall in 2013.
