Jianbin Chen, born on June 27, 1970 in Tianshan District, Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is a Chinese actor, film director, and Vice Chairman of the Actors Committee of the China Television Artists Committee. He has a postgraduate degree from the Department of Acting at the Central Academy of Drama in 1998, entered the National Theatre of China in 2002, and began appearing in TV dramas in 1993. In 2003, she starred in director Gao Xixi's TV drama "10 Years of Marriage" and won the Outstanding Actor Award at the 24th China TV Drama Flying Apsaras Award and the Most Favorite Male Actor Award at the 22nd China TV Golden Eagle Awards. In 2006, he won the Audience’s Favorite TV Drama Actor Award at the Chinese TV Golden Eagle Award for his performance in "Qiao’s Grand Courtyard".
