Dean Fujioka was born in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, and finished college at Seattle University, Seattle, Washington. After his graduation, he decided to explore by traveling and taking a photographic journey across Asia. He is fluent in English, Japanese, and Mandarin. He currently lives in Jakarta, Indonesia with his wife Vanina.
