Jackie Chan was born on April 7, 1954 in the Central and Western District of Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China. His ancestral home is in Anhui Province. He is a national first-class actor and an international martial arts star in the Chinese film industry. In 1960, he entered the The Central Academy of Drama to study traditional Chinese opera and entered the film industry as a martial artist. Since he graduated from the Academy in 1970, he’d hoped to develop his career in the film industry because he had been playing small roles in films since he was young. In 1978, Wu Siyuan invited Jackie Chan to make films such as "Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow" and "Drunken Master", which made him famous.
